We would recommend Dr. Thomas on Revolution just two blocks north of 5 de Febrero. Two story white building. It is called Veternario Madero (it used to be on Madero)
Good Vet and speaks good English His wife is a vet also but does not speak English, their daughters speak English also.

Just read this tip on the bajaponyexpress and I think it's important to spread it!

Always have a bottle of hydrogen peroxide(agua oxigenada) with you when walking the beach with your dog. Force some down its throat if you think he/she has eaten puffer fish or anything else that you feel might make them sick. It will make them throw up immediately and should get rid of most of the poison.

Good idea and it helps to have an idea of how much to administer.
http://www.petplace.com/dogs/how-to-induce-vomiting-emesis-in-dogs/page1.aspx
"The appropriate dose of hydrogen peroxide is one teaspoon per 10 pounds of body weight. If you have an oral syringe, one teaspoon equals 5 cc or 5 ml. Once given, walk your dog around or gently shake the stomach area to mix the peroxide with the stomach contents. Vomiting should occur within 15 to 20 minutes. If no vomiting occurs, you can safely repeat the three percent hydrogen peroxide once. If it is still not effective, your dog may need to be seen by a veterinarian for stronger vomiting medication." 1tsp.=5ml per 10lbs or 4.5kgs.
