Feb. 7, Carnaval de La Paz 2013 begins: The dates have been announced for the city’s biggest annual street party and entertainment festival. Carnaval begins Thursday, Feb. 7, and continues through Tuesday, Feb. 12. The parades with floats along the Malecón are scheduled for Feb. 10, Feb. 11 and Feb. 12. Here’s the posted lineup for live performances: Gilberto Gless on Feb. 7, Gloria Trevi at Estadio Guycura on Feb. 8, Canaveral on Feb. 9, María José on Feb. 10, Motel on Feb. 11 and Banda San José de Mesillas on Feb. 12.
