Also here is a recipe for a hydration drink,  which I read is really the only treatment-fluids that is

Sodium Chloride (salt) 3.5g
Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda) 2.5g
Potassium Chloride (No Salt) 1.5g
Glucose 20g

This is for 1 litre of liquid and you need 1500 ml of liquid for the first 20kg of body weight plus 20ml for every kg in excess of 20.
Caveat Emptor.  The article says this is for an intravenous solution but I am assuming that it would be ok to take this by mouth.
