Scoops

Anyone going to Cabo and wanting a unique and elegant place to stay should try out Scoops. Our expectations were greatly exceeded! We drove in to have our car immediately emptied of luggage (and shopping bags!) and the car whisked off to a secure parking lot. Owners Carrie Duncan and David Flores (yes, Gringo Gazette) were nothing but gracious, as they looked at our bedraggled bodies and offered food and drinks sent to our rooms! It had been a long day, but we declined, and went to pick out our rooms. What a decision! Each room is decorated differently, with choices from zebra prints to 70's mod, with a lovely sitting area with coffee maker and fridge with cereal and juice. After showers and primping, we went back down the beautiful carved wood staircase to the dining room and had a five star dinner while listening to the pianist and admiring the art. After dinner, we walked over to the marina and admired the boats, did a little more shopping and people watching and then slept like babies. All in all, a delightful experience-and the special prices can't be beat! Thanks, Carrie, we'll be back! Jeri-Anne
